She laughs. Her laughter sounds like tugging at the strings of fate, stretched, ready to snap.

The Seer had never been wrong. Not once did she err. Her fame spread far and wide. Visitors came seeking — men, dragons, even the younger gods pursued her.
The contract was simple. She tells your future, you give your eye in exchange.
And so, to everyone she told the truth, always the truth. And for every single one of them, the prophecy had been the same:
"You will give your eye to the Seer" she said. And so they did, for they had agreed.
And then she laughed...
